Major League Baseball announced today that all 120 Minor League Clubs offered an invitation to become Professional Development League (“PDL”) license holders, have officially agreed to accept. The Binghamton Rumble Ponies, selected as partners by the New York Mets, will provide both facilities and communities that are essential to the development of the next generation of big-league stars.

 

In accordance with the MLB’s new plan, The Rumble Ponies will compete in a brand new League for the 2021 season and beyond. They will take part in the New Double-A Northeast League, and will be seeded in the Northeast division. Season Tickets and Flex Booklets are on sale now for the 2021 season. Getthere’s Volunteer Drivers are making a difference in the lives of our seniors one trip at a time. Lack of transportation is an insurmountable stressor for individuals that are homebound, unable to drive due to a health condition, may not have family or friends able to drive them, or are unable to pay for costly private rides.

 

In order to meet this vital need, Getthere is looking for caring people to join our team of volunteer drivers! Drivers create their own schedule and are reimbursed $0.56 per mile! Breaking News...Governor Makes Re-Opening Announcement

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced that indoor family entertainment centers and places of amusement can open with a 25 percent capacity limit beginning Friday, March 26. Outdoor amusement parks can open with a 33 percent capacity limit beginning Friday, April 9. All facilities must submit reopening plans with health protocols to the local health department. Face coverings and social distancing will be required for all customers and staff, and customers will be required to have a health screening with temperature checks prior to entry. Additionally, day and overnight summer camps in New York State can begin to plan for reopening. The Department of Health will issue specific reopening guidance, including details on timing, in the coming weeks.
