WCDO now Broadcasting in Greater Norwich area

WCDO Radio, located and licensed in Sidney has announced their new FM signal in Norwich. The new frequency is 92.3 on the FM dial and reaches the Town and City of Norwich and the surrounding areas.

 

WCDO station manager, Craig Stevens said, “we are very excited about the upgrade and being a part of the Norwich community. This will allow WCDO to expand their listenership in an area previously unreachable.” The broadcast antenna and transmitter are located on the roof of UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital. Stevens said, “from the administration to the maintenance crew, everyone at CMH has been a pleasure to work with.”

 

Stevens added that WCDO's call letters stand for Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego, and like thier primary signals, the new 92.3 FM signal will feature 12 local newscasts per weekday, high school football and basketball coverage, tri-County community information, local on-air contests and an adult comtemporary music format. 

 

He reiterated in the release that the Tri-County Heatbeat - WCDO is available on FM 100.9, AM1490, and now FM 92.3 in Norwich.
